Our ideas mattered...

The Sappi Ideas that Matter programme awards grants worth $1 million each year to designers around the world, enabling them to promote social, environmental or humanitarian causes of their choice. We entered in 2007 on behalf of London based environmental charity SEA Renue, and in August 2007 we were declared one of two UK winners.

"There were very hard choices to make and the jury found the judging process very demanding, explains Sappi's Marketing Manager Sue Griffin. But Im looking forward to seeing how this commitment is communicated via the print campaigns. Especially at how successfully paper and ink come together to translate the ideas into effective campaigns that have the power to move people to actively support the causes that the designers so want to help.

At Eve Design we believe that comunications play a vital role in the ongoing challenge of raising awareness in climate change. Our aim is to provide our clients with design led communication that has a clear and consistent message, is easy to understand and promotes their brand in an approachable and positive manner.

The Think Climate, Talk Sustainability, Take Action campaign will be launched in May 2008. We are optimistic that the campaign will generate positive reactions from all areas of the target audience.
